Accessibility
sanpablorotary.org aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. That is the standard used when people talk about ADA Title III access for websites. This statement covers this site only.
What is in place
- A skip link, and header, main, navigation, and footer regions.
- One page heading, with the sections under it in order.
- Keyboard access for links, the slideshow, and the Four-Way Test window.
- A pause control on the slideshow. Automatic motion also stays off when the device asks for reduced motion.
- Text sitting on a dark glass plate where a photograph is behind it, so the picture stays and the words stay readable.
- Visible focus, and links that are underlined rather than marked by color only.
- English scene captions on the silent service clips. The page language is English.
What still needs a person
- The slideshow clips have no spoken words. The caption files describe the picture and say that there is no dialogue. They are not a transcript of speech. A later clip that includes speech needs captions written by a person.
- This site has no PDF or other document to download. A file added later needs its own accessible version.
- Rotary International and Vanersity Tech Inc are other websites. This statement does not cover them. There is no map, video chat, or other third-party widget embedded here.
- Nothing on this site is written in a language other than English.
